Description
Learn how to systematically evaluate pain, movement restrictions, and musculoskeletal dysfunction with practical orthopedic assessment techniques.
This comprehensive online video course teaches a clear, step-by-step approach to evaluating the body through client history, observation, range of motion, strength testing, special tests, and palpation.
Explore approximately 250 assessment techniques for the upper and lower body. You will learn tests for the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, spine, hips, knees, ankles, and feet, helping you better identify which joints, muscles, ligaments, nerves, or other tissues may be contributing to pain and restricted movement.
The course includes active and passive range-of-motion testing, resisted strength tests, nerve tension and conduction tests, spinal facet assessment, knee meniscus and ligament tests, rotator cuff impingement tests, joint play, and other orthopedic special tests.
Detailed demonstrations and 3D anatomical visuals help clarify which structures are being evaluated and what different findings may indicate.
Designed for massage therapists, bodyworkers, and manual therapy practitioners who want to move beyond guesswork, this course provides a structured framework for improving clinical reasoning, treatment planning, and communication with clients.
